The beginning of a not so secret garden : )

Well since I've been cooped up in my house for months while Owen worked on the car. I got tired of having nothing I guess creative/helpful? to do other than hand him tools/parts/clean crap/paint parts(which i finished). So when we went to a Taylors do it center. (kinda like a teeny lowes/home depot) to get something random I forget what and I started browsing seeds. Owen had a brilliant moment and suggested I take this extra time at home to start a garden! (Something I've been dieing to do) So I grabbed a seedling tray and a plethora of seeds. I grabbed a ton of flowers, a few herbs, cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes and cucumbers.

The tray housed uh....a lot 72! for only 10 bucks (great for starting from seeds) they had little individual pellets that were like vacuum pressed? or something.
Sooo they were uber small. All I had to do was add water and wait and they pop up about the same height as a credit card (height not length).
And I planted the seeds according to the depth indicated on the packet. Simple enough right? 2-3 seeds in the same hole to make sure you get at least one of them to pop up and if they all do you have better chances of getting one stronger than the others. It made me really sad though because it says to weed out the smaller weaker ones. (Which makes sense because you are supposed to try to get the best to survive) I did not adhere to this particular rule when replanting :) But that comes later.
So anyway you plant your seeds and it has enough water till they sprout up. So you put the plastic tray cover on top of the seed tray thing. Which turns it into a greenhouse! super exciting :D
Certain seeds of mine popped up after only six days! man you should of seen me I checked on that tray like a gillion times a day.
After the seedlings sprout you are supposed to prop one corner of the greenhouse up. Round about then I started watering more. I used a plain spray bottle (you can get at any walmart or dollar tree in like travel or beauty supply isle) And just mist your plants at least twice a day (or more if you are stuck at home : / )
Man after then they just shot up. :P
I don't really have pictures of them as little seedlings but I do have pictures after I started the replanting process ( to make sure that the extra ones that popped up in the same pellet would survive and not get their roots too tangled to separate)

Here is my tray there are some empty spots where I took the plants out and re-planted them... all that junk on the bottom right is just the empty pellets/extra dirt from the process nothing important.
Either My computer is being retarded or blogspot is so I'm just going to post the rest of the pictures in a following blog.(if they'll load)
