The gardening continued

So here I am again to see if the rest of my pictures will post :P

< These are mainly cherry tomato plants with one or two cilantro at the bottom. Not to mention the bigger blue planter with two baby plants are large tomato.
These from left to right are purple basil ^^^^^^^^^(some of them turned out green which confused me? but whatever) and the right are all cilantro. and hey you see my feet in the picture too whoops!
Now below are five sunflower plants propped up by the closest thing I could get my hands on to prop them up! Pencils annd some sticks found in the yard.Tied with none other than random bits of yarn. Which worked pretty well.
Now after I Realized that I would have to re-pot my plants I looked around for pots....which go figure we didn't have in my house! So being the homeschooler I am I "fixed it" with random bottoms of bottles I cut out which worked pretty well actually....Some fruit tray bottoms, bottom of a orange juice bottle and bottom of a milk bottle, greek yogurt containers, hummus containers and like a 3 dollar stack of 10 peat pots (also made my jiffy) which i mostly used for the baby tomato plants because when they get big enough I can just plant the pot and all because it will disintegrate. So yay!!!!

I also bought on a trip to lowes for potting soil. A rasberry bush, two tristan strawberry plants and yellow tulips!
I have the two strawberries in hanging baskets because they were just the right size :) not to mention they are just adorable. I haven't moved the tulips from the original pot they came in : / I haven't found a place I want to put them yet -sigh- Might have to wait until they die down to plant the bulbs. Because I would just hate to spoil these beautiful flowers Its been giving me :) they smell good too.
Now the rasberry bush lol I lied its really a twig in the big pot we got it XD thats how it came anyway. But It has a cute little bud popping up :) Sooooooooo exciting. I convinced owen we absolutely had to get it now because A) its my favorite fruit....B) by the time we move out it will be all growneded up/not so vulnerable and we'll have a place for it to flourish forever :D
So anyway thats what I've done soooo far :) I'll have more posts showing the progress of my plants and more stuff on my car n whatever stuff :P thanks for reading much love!

The beginning of a not so secret garden : )

Well since I've been cooped up in my house for months while Owen worked on the car. I got tired of having nothing I guess creative/helpful? to do other than hand him tools/parts/clean crap/paint parts(which i finished). So when we went to a Taylors do it center. (kinda like a teeny lowes/home depot) to get something random I forget what and I started browsing seeds. Owen had a brilliant moment and suggested I take this extra time at home to start a garden! (Something I've been dieing to do) So I grabbed a seedling tray and a plethora of seeds. I grabbed a ton of flowers, a few herbs, cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes and cucumbers.

The tray housed uh....a lot 72! for only 10 bucks (great for starting from seeds) they had little individual pellets that were like vacuum pressed? or something.
Sooo they were uber small. All I had to do was add water and wait and they pop up about the same height as a credit card (height not length).
And I planted the seeds according to the depth indicated on the packet. Simple enough right? 2-3 seeds in the same hole to make sure you get at least one of them to pop up and if they all do you have better chances of getting one stronger than the others. It made me really sad though because it says to weed out the smaller weaker ones. (Which makes sense because you are supposed to try to get the best to survive) I did not adhere to this particular rule when replanting :) But that comes later.
So anyway you plant your seeds and it has enough water till they sprout up. So you put the plastic tray cover on top of the seed tray thing. Which turns it into a greenhouse! super exciting :D
Certain seeds of mine popped up after only six days! man you should of seen me I checked on that tray like a gillion times a day.
After the seedlings sprout you are supposed to prop one corner of the greenhouse up. Round about then I started watering more. I used a plain spray bottle (you can get at any walmart or dollar tree in like travel or beauty supply isle) And just mist your plants at least twice a day (or more if you are stuck at home : / )
Man after then they just shot up. :P
I don't really have pictures of them as little seedlings but I do have pictures after I started the replanting process ( to make sure that the extra ones that popped up in the same pellet would survive and not get their roots too tangled to separate)

Here is my tray there are some empty spots where I took the plants out and re-planted them... all that junk on the bottom right is just the empty pellets/extra dirt from the process nothing important.
Either My computer is being retarded or blogspot is so I'm just going to post the rest of the pictures in a following blog.(if they'll load)

Ahhh the time away

So much happens betwixt my posts likeeee(latest to most recent) Got a 1989 300zx 2+2, had it crap out on me, send it to a mechanic (who had it for 3 months and only did one thing), take it back from mechanic, Owen says he'll fix it, have it sitting in my driveway for another three months (but at least we have worked on it and have about half of the parts back in it now***whole front end timing belt overhaul), take a semester off (gasp I know right? but seriously how was I supposed to get to classes with no car), buy a brand new on sale 20 cup coffee maker, collect unique thrift store coffee cups, Beat mass effect one and two within two weeks (not super impressive but hey I have other things to do with my time), crochet some hats, start a garden, dabble in painting auto parts/working on my own car, Buy myself a new ipod touch for my birthday,Paint on canvas! again hurrahhhhh not to mention color my hair purple. So far my hair has been blue,(blueish white after it faded) then green (because everyone said my blue hair was green so I showed em what for) now a deep royal purple :) Prob will go back to blue though when my car is fixed.
SO! -pants for breath- A lot huh? a crazy amount. I'll post pictures once I figure out how to get them off of my ipod....so far all the information i've found is putting pictures ON but nothing about getting them on my computer.

We have a date! (for the kitty anyway)

So I visited our lovely baby girl kitty( which owen still has to meet) and she has gotten so much bigger!!! We get to bring her home probably on the ninth of October :)
When I visited It was only her and one of her siblings that wanted to play and when I left she followed me all the way down the hall :D So cute!!! I'm planning to make a cat bed out of a old t-shirt and stuff it with some old blanket stuffing stuff from a blanket that faiths dog tore up when they stayed with me for 3 months :) RECYCLING is awesome! :) I'll post how it turned out.

ITS OFFICIAL =^-^=

So the 11th I went to a friends house that was back from college on a visit and turns out her cat just had kittens so of course one of them attached itself to me and me to it tuggin on all my lil ol heartstrings I discussed it with my hubby to be and since he's still living at home he had to ask his parents if they minded. TODAY IT WAS MADE OFFICIAL WE ARE GETTING IT
she's a little calico baby partially orange tabby partially gray and has a itty bitty white tip on her tail. I talked it over with Owen dearest and we have picked out the name Ginny (my choice) and Bean (his) so she'll be called Ginny bean (reminds me of jelly bean) But yea to explain I wanted to name her after ginny from harry potter and he wanted to name her bean because calico cats always reminded him of coffee. anywho so its ginny bean :)

But so far so good :) its so beautiful!
